Job Description / Travel Consultant Assistant
Position Summary:
The Travel Consultant Assistant is responsible for coordinating and booking travel arrangements for individuals, groups, and businesses to meet and enhance our group’s needs. The candidate will be overseen by a senior team member. The successful candidate should fulfill the following responsibilities and requirements.
Main Responsibilities:
· Handle all aspects related to ticketing (domestic and international), including ticket refunds, issuance, reissuance, and cancellations.
· Assist group employees with travel planning via calls and emails.
· Maintain proficiency in city codes and airline codes.
· Provide end-to-end service while organizing trips, including booking tickets, reserving hotels, and creating itineraries.
· Perform other tasks as assigned by the Senior of the department.
· Be available for on-call duties after working hours, including weekends and bank holidays.
Candidate Profile:
· Minimum of 2 years’ experience in tourism operations.
· Familiarity with IATA manuals and Amadeus travel software.
· Fluent in English (oral and written).
· Proactive and highly organized, with strong time management and planning skills.
· Proficient in computer skills (Word, Excel).
